Schoenbrunn was the former summer residence of the imperial family and is one of the most beautiful baroque palaces of Europe. The largest part of the year resided the Habsburgs in the countless Gemächern, the imperial family in addition to the large spaces needed representation. 1830, Emperor Franz Joseph, who married the charming Sisi, reigned 1848-1916 and was born here. His last years of life spent the monarch in its entirety in the castle, which has been translated, two years after his death, in the management of the new republic. Today, the castle because of its historical significance, its unique plant and equipment belong the UNESCO World Heritage.
