The "Shared Water" themed plaza has the aim of replacing the political world we live in for a world of river basins and to show how their management can be shared.
This exhibition demonstrates the realities of the world of river basins and encourages reflection on the multiple contradictions resulting from geographical accidents. These accidents are often caused by the action of man, as seen in the political division of countries as the result of post-war treaties, the abuse of resources in a shared river, contradictory protocols and laws governing river management, the protagonism given to private water management companies over the public interest and a long et cetera. "Shared Water" challenges these established rules and encourages new thinking on shared water management.

Euskadi featured a 300 square meter pavilion at Expo Zaragoza 2008. The pavilion theme was "Water, Renewable Energy and Sustainable Development", framed all in the fight against Climate Change.
The roof houses methacrylate (10.000 pieces) representing water as rain and sea. And the LEDs simulated the sky. On wood panelling on the walls are carved the main channels and basins of Euskadi. And the visitor when moving the umbrellas that are hanging from the ceiling will be wrapped in images of the society and its relationship with the water cycle projected onto the canvas as a screen.
