Keratoacanthoma

Bei Keratoakanthomen handelt es sich um meist solitäre Tumoren, die durch ihr rasches Wachstum auffallen; die Anamnese umfasst oft nur mehrere Wochen. Keratoakanthome weisen einen zentralen Krater auf und sind in der Regel auf sonnenlichtexponierten Hautarealen zu finden, so auch am Augenlid. Sie sollen von den Haarfollikeln abstammen. Ätiologisch werden UV-Exposition, Viren, Entzündungen, Traumen und Karzinogene wie Teer mit Keratoakanthomen in Verbindung gebracht.
