About Trizax |
|
The TRIZAX web-site allows the stereoscopic visualization of images from the world of science, medicine and technology. This web-site is currently edited by Antonio Bergua, MD, ophthalmologist at the Department of Ophthalmology of the University Erlangen-Nürnberg, in Erlangen (Germany). TRIZAX provides an easy and world wide affordable web-site for the three-dimensional representation of our environment. Due to the origin of this web-site, ophthalmological images will have a preponderant role. But other areas of medicine as well as science and technology are as well considered worth mentioning in TRIZAX.
For stereoscopic visualisation of the pictures click on thumbnail to see the 3D image directly if you have appropriate software and monitor for stereovisualisation with shutter-glasses (e.g. from VREX or Nuvision), or click on the symbol of the Petersik´s Stereoscope Applet for easier stereoview.

Why the name TRIZAX? |
TRIZAX can be separated into three syllables: |
TRI: From TRIdimensional, the principal characteristic of this web-site: stereoscopic visualisation of pictures. |
Z: Of the three axes describing the space, Z is the axis in the depth, perpendicular to X (abscissa) and Y (ordinate) in a Cartesian representation. |
AX: suffix which is currently used to denominate systems or processes in the high-tech world. |
